Heather Shaw

Founding Attorney

Senior Attorney Heather Shaw has been practicing law in South Carolina Family Courts for over ten years, where she is known to be a tough, compassionate advocate for families from all walks of life. In addition to her experience in divorce, custody, and contempt issues, Heather takes great pride and enjoyment in facilitating adoption proceedings for families of all types.

Heather is a mother to four children and has served as a foster parent for the Charleston County Department of Social Services. Her personal experience gives her unique insight into Family Court proceedings. In addition to her work in Family Court, Heather takes on select civil litigation clients, including personal injury work with a focus on children’s injuries. Heather is originally from Michigan. She is a graduate of the Thomas M. Cooley School of Law.
